This website is a private portfolio used solely for job applications by Marco Pröfrock. It is not operated commercially. The processing of personal data is kept to the absolute minimum required to deliver the page.
The site is hosted by a third-party provider (GitHub Pages). For technical reasons, the hosting provider temporarily processes connection data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp in standard server log files. This data is necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Fonts are loaded locally from this server. No data is transferred to external font providers (e.g. Google Fonts).
The chat widget at the bottom of the page allows you to send a short message. If you choose to send a message, the content of your message and a timestamp are transmitted via the service Formspree (Formspree Inc., USA) to my email inbox. Use of the chat is entirely voluntary. Please do not enter any sensitive personal data. No additional metadata, IP geolocation, or device fingerprinting is collected. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent through voluntary submission).
Embedded videos are loaded only after you actively click the play button, and only via the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com. No connection to YouTube is established before you click.
